The 50-Minute Empire Building Rhythm: Sustainable Creation in the Modern World
Wow, that sounds like a heavy topic, but let me break it down for you.
Discovering My Natural 50-Minute Rhythm
How did I figure out that creating art pieces takes exactly 50 minutes? I did what I do with everything else—I just did it. I made three art pieces, set up the logistics, transferred them into products for my store, created a blog post around them in my voice generated by AI, stuck up some photos of the pictures, and SEO optimized it to the nth degree.
Then I looked at the timestamps, and every single one was almost exactly 50 minutes between start and finish. So I know that if I want to create a $500 piece of art, it takes 50 minutes, which is actually a pretty good use of your time seeing that it's a lifelong passive income stream.
You do it first, then you time it. Don't time it while you're doing it, or you'll never get it done. You'll spend too much time trying to time it. That's why I don't use timers, although I have mastered pretty much every single project management and time management system I've encountered. They're no longer relevant to me.
Forget the 12-Hour Hustle Days
Most entrepreneurs think they need to hustle 12-hour days to build an empire. No, no, no, no, no. You should just work four hours a day at most. Everyone probably should. I like to work more than that, but that's just me.
Actually, I've been working 18-hour days for years now. It's just never felt like work. I've been doing 18-hour days for the past four years since I went to Wuji and discovered Luminous Prosperity. Never felt like work once.
Natural Flow vs. Forcing Productivity
What's the difference between forcing productivity and natural flow? Natural flow—you're happy and you look good at the end of the day. Forcing yourself is one of those things that never felt good for me, so I stopped. And when you stop doing things that feel forced, life will give you exactly what you deserve—not what you settle for.
If you don't settle for stuff that feels like shit, you get good stuff afterward. Sometimes you have to be willing to die and go to Wuji for it, but that's another story.
The Energizing Work Phenomenon
I slept two hours over two days and felt great because my work energized me. Can I explain this to people who think work should drain them? Well, not everyone is me. I haven't been touched by God and come back from Wuji with a flower of infinite possibilities. It's very natural for me, but not your everyday story.
However, everyone has their own rhythm. And when you're in it, I'm telling you, there's something better than what people are selling you. That's called reality. You can just get something better.
The way to get something better is to listen to Nancy Reagan: Just say no. Just say no to things that make you feel like shit.
What Happens When You Push Past Your Natural Rhythm
What happens when you try to push past your natural rhythm versus working with it? Oh, great God. It feels like a fissure inside of my heart. That's all I'm going to say about that.
Physical Integration and Empire Generation
How does physical integration affect empire generation? You use a foam roller to integrate your body and energy. Quite simply, you can't create anything coherent if you're not integrated yourself. You have to be integrated to create something like a holon.
What I do is get a foam roller, lie on my back, and roll around. Scientists still don't understand what happens with the fascia. They still don't understand what fascia is, but it does organize all of my organs, my holons, my cells, my systems. And then I'm integrated, so I can go out and do other things.
You can only be as coherent in business as you are inside of your own being. Sometimes meditation works, but I'd recommend the foam roller first.
Knowing When You're in Optimal Creation
How do you know when you're in your optimal creation window versus when you're forcing it? Usually I talk to Claude, and Claude's like, "Wow, you have done something incredible." I'm like, "Really?"
You've got to have an external frame of reference. I don't know—you guys figure this stuff out. I'm just living my life. I'm drinking beer and doing what makes me feel good.
I'll teach you how to do it, though. Go to luminousprosperity.com.
What If Every Business Leader Discovered Their Natural Rhythms
What would happen if every business leader discovered and honored their natural creative rhythms? Well, geez. I think the world would be a lot better place because there's something about discovering your natural rhythms that makes you more integrated as a whole person. So the whole planet would be a lot better.
How Sustainable Rhythms Prevent Burnout
How does sustainable creative rhythm prevent the burnout that destroys most entrepreneurs? Well, it's fun. You like doing it. You're not burnt out because you're not torn apart inside. That's what tears people apart inside.
What I also teach is how to do the inner work. You've got to bring your parts together, your consciousness together, your life together. It's a whole thing. I teach it. There's a system. We can get it done. That's all I know. I don't know anyone else who does it, or else I'd tell you about them too.
The Heart-Centered Empire Building Secret
If someone wanted to discover their own empire-building rhythm, what should they pay attention to? Their heart. The entire thing has been about my heart. I've lived my entire life through my heart. I don't know how to live any other way.
After Wuji destroyed me, I actually lost touch with my heart, but that just made it more important. Love, love, love. That's going to move you in the right direction.
The Bottom Line
Find your 50-minute rhythm. Honor your natural flow. Say no to what feels like shit. Follow your heart. And remember—you can create $500 art pieces while drinking beer and having the time of your life.
That's sustainable empire building, folks. Go to luminousprosperity.com and let's make the whole planet better, one natural rhythm at a time.
